Google including social media in search results

If you haven't already signed up to some social media websites (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIN etc) then now is the time! In the not to distant future, Google will be including social media in their search engine results, meaning that your Twitter posts could show up in the search engine results.

This will give people another way to find your website so if you haven't signed up already then do it now!

Celebrity Twitter Exodus?

A large number of celebrities are starting to leave Twitter due to the trouble it's causing. Whether it be them getting tired of their private life becoming public or the fact that what they write is getting them into trouble.

Many in America have started to leave including Miley Cyrus, Courtney Love and Trent Reznor to name a few (who cares right?), is this just the start? Lily Allen has also left.

Is this the decline of Twitter? After all, it was celebrities that made Twitter what it is today, what do you think?

We've come across some research that said pictures of Cute animals and Bacon on your website helps the sell. The busy life of a social networker...

Social networking can easily eat up your whole day, after all, keeping up with all your friends can be a time consuming job! Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, Linked In, Youtube, the list goes on! So keeping a presence on all these networks is hard work. So here at MyWebEdge we've been busy integrating all our social networks into as few as possible.

Why not integrate Facebook and Twitter? One post, half the work! Likewise, Blogger to Facebook, write your blog once and let all your Facebook friends know about it without lifting a finger. Ok, so it's not quite down to updating one social network to update all the rest but we're not far off.

Now if only we can think of things to write...
